A Message from your Neighbor
Last Update Date: January 1,2021
Happy New Year!
While it hasn’t exactly felt like the New Year’s Day of the past, we certainly weren’t expecting it to. If 2020 taught us anything, it was to not cling too strongly to our expectations of how things “should” be. A wise man once said that “clinging + impermanence = suffering” (Gil Fronsdal)
Still, we look forward to the new experiences to come, not the least of which is welcoming a new neighbor! If you haven’t heard, the Interfaith Council for Social Service has developed the “IFC Commons” at 100 West Main St. Carrboro. This January IFC is our “Brewing Neighbor Partner”, which means we will be dedicating resources to helping raise money for the important work they do in our community. Learn more on our Brewing Neighbor Page here.
Starting tomorrow, our business hours will be Thursday 4-8pm, Friday 4-9pm, Saturday 12-9pm and Sunday 12-8pm. We anticipate a change later in the month but we strongly encourage pick up and delivery in the meantime.
Stay tuned to our social media for additional updates.
